Daniel “Dan” Moir has over 23 years of combined hands-on and managerial experience in all facets of geological and environmental compliance consulting and business management, including project and program management for energy sector clients, as well as providing technical expertise in complex geologic assessments, interpretations, and remedial designs/implementations for various sectors throughout the nation.

As a Professional Geologist recognized in the State of Wyoming and Texas, Dan has consulted on geological assessments and remedial actions for energy sector, exploration mining, retail gas stations, and commercial-related projects. His role includes being an HSE and technical advisor for hundreds of projects including projects throughout the Rockies and Texas. Technical advisement includes conceptual site model (CSM) development, geological and hydrogeological evaluation and interpretations, remedial options evaluations, pilot testing and engineering design of in-situ remedial plans, data evaluation and interpretation, negotiations with regulatory agencies, budget review and controls, as well as risk mitigation efforts on behalf of the clients and company. He has expedited site closures and project conclusions based on sound science, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and leveraging regulatory relationships to negotiate remedial actions that were technologically effective and cost-efficient.
