Client: Municipal and Private
Location: Oklahoma
Project: Waste Compliance Audit
Project Characteristics: Ensolum, LLC (Ensolum) Consultants worked closely, and collaborated with, building management, individual business owners, environmental department leads, and staff to perform a waste compliance audit of a large multi-business facility in Oklahoma City as part of a Risk Assessment project. Waste management evaluation is an essential part of environmental risk assessments. The information gained with a waste compliance assessment is key to determining potential regulatory requirements and best management decisions by assessing and handling various waste streams on a Site. Along with concern for risks that could affect human and animal health, EPA also looks at risks associated with potential wastes, their sources, and hazards that can include groundwater or soil contamination which might be unknown to the individuals or communities affected by them as they are not always readily traced to a particular activity. In addition, EPA is concerned about risks that might occur in the future and the need to take actions to prevent environmental contamination or minimize the potential for exposure.

Project Detail:
- Ensolum Scientist staff conducted a waste compliance audit of an expansive multi-business facility with several tenants and differing multi-media operations in and around the property.

- Ensolum staff also created a photolog template and inserted all compliance photographs into the log alongside the audit write-up to project management staff.
- All documents were compiled and Ensolum Oklahoma City staff completed the report.
